897.5
Davies |
The 897.5 is a cross between the 845.0 Bobier 2000 and the 1260.4 Weir 2001. Both of these seed stocks have produced many world class giant pumpkins with a propensity to weigh over their estimated weights (which means: they have thicker walls). The 845 produced Charlie Houghton's 2002, 1337.6, world record.

Wallace |
The 1502 Wallace was the first giant pumpkin ever grown over 1500 pounds and still stands as the all-time world record. Its circumference was 187" and its over the top measurements were 104" side to side and 112" stem to blossom end. The 1502 was a cross between the 1068 Wallace and the 1354 Checkon (both of which produced world records in 2005 and 2006).
