1068
Wallace

The 1068 produced the first 1500-pound pumpkin with the 2006, Ron Wallace, 1502. The 1068 Wallace, 2003, is a 845 Bobier, 2000 by 898 Knauss, 2001 cross. The 898 crossed with either the 723 Bobier, 1999 or the 845, or the reverse, has shown to be quite reliable in producing pumpkins whose offspring are large and weigh considerably more than their estimated weight.

In 2005, the 1068 produced three pumpkins over 1300 pounds, three over 1200, two over 1100, and two over 1000. This is one of the best single season performances by any seed stock all-time.

In 2006 it produced the first pumpkin ever grown over 1500-pounds, the Ron Wallace 1502. In addition, it produced the second largest pumpkin in the world, the Dick Wallace 1450. All-in-all, four of the top-six pumpkins grown in the world were produced from the 1068 Wallace.

1354
Checkon

The 1354 is a cross between the 723 Bobier, 1999 and the 986, Checkon, 2002. The 723 is the most prolific producer of world class giant pumpkins all-time. The 986 has produced the 1162 Checkon, 2003 and the 991 Checkon, 2004.

The 1354 Checkon seed used as a pollinator for the 1502 produced a pumpkin weighing 977 pounds (harvested early in mid-September) and weighed 23% over its estimated weight. It was still growing 8 pounds a day when picked, and most likely would have reached 1100 pound before the weigh off season ended.
